The best part of a holiday weekend is back-to-back short weeks of work, which means back-to-back weeks where we're that much closer to doing what we love most — playing golf.
The weekend is still a couple days away, so what better time than now to daydream of your next round of golf with some of the best golf photos from social media last week.

Cool and rainy September day today. Wasn't much warmer than the low 50s today and it started raining about 3pm and is still lightly raining. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same. I'm not ready for it to start getting this cool yet; lucky for me it is going to be back in the 70s by next weekend. Until then, there is a "Freeze Watch" for some counties in northern Minnesota. I need to golf more! I don't feel like I'm ready for the season to start winding down as I don't feel like I've golfed nearly enough this season. @loggerstrail had their annual "Jersey Day" today where you were invited to play in your favorite teams jersey. I completely forgot about it and headed up to the course to get some swings in before the rain and to grab a few shots with my new @tamronusa 24-70mm lens. I’ve played about 30 different courses in my first golf season in MN and people have started to ask me what are my favorites. When you’re talking the Twin Cities metro area, @troyburnegolfclub takes the cake in my eyes (and Golf Digest would agree too 😉). This Top 100 public course is just a hop, skip, and a jump over the border in Hudson, WI. I’ve had the opportunity to play this course a few times now and have fallen in love with it. The unique style change from the front (links inspired), to the back (Northwoods feel) is an effortless transition. The large bunches will have you in awe on the tee (then cursing their names if you wind up in one 🤣). The greens are always in perfect condition, but leave you facing challenging undulations throughout the course. And the fairways are so smooth and cut down it’s almost like hitting off a green itself. If you haven’t made the trip, do yourself a favor and make the trek to @troyburnegolfclub. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
