PGA WORKS Takes Students Beyond the Green of Golf Industry
Published on

PGA WORKS Beyond the Green is a career exploration event, held annually at the PGA Championship to provide high school and college age students with an insider’s look at the golf industry. Students interested in a career in the golf industry have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and get a behind the scenes look at the operations of a Major Championship.
We spoke to PGA WORKS Beyond the Green participants to gather their thoughts right after the event in 2019.
One of those participants was two-time PGA WORKS Collegiate Champion from the University of St. Johns Alejandra Sanchez. We recently had a virtual chat with Sanchez where reflected back on her experience with Beyond the Green, what she was able to learn, and some of the highlights of the event.
