PGA Championship 2017: Transportation and parking guide
PGA GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING
Off-site PGA Public parking for the 2017 PGA Championship will be available for advance purchase ONLY. Complimentary shuttles will be provided at PGA Public lots to transport attendees to the Main Spectator Bus Terminal.
Spectators not utilizing General Public parking should use alternative methods of transportation. Carpooling is strongly encouraged for all golf fans! There will be no overnight parking in any PGA Public Parking lots, and any vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense. PGA Tournament Corporation is not responsible for damage to your vehicle, or items lost or stolen from your vehicle.
MERCEDES-BENZ LOYALTY LOT
Mercedes-Benz owners should contact their local Charlotte area dealer for information on a complimentary parking opportunity at this year’s PGA Championship.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Anyone with a valid PGA Championship ticket will be able to ride the CATS LYNX light rail system for free to the Sharon Road West Station, where a complimentary shuttle bus will take them to the Main Spectator Bus Terminal. Riders must have a valid PGA Championship ticket good for the day and present to fare inspectors when asked for a valid pass. Click here for more information on parking & train schedules. Please note: Parking at LYNX light rail Park & Ride stations is not controlled by the PGA. Weekday and weekend usage will vary.

UBER
You can now take an Uber to and from the 2017 PGA Championship – the only option that takes you from your doorstep to the Championship with the tap of a button. Simply enter 8801 Park Road, Charlotte, NC as your destination in the Uber app and your driver will take you to the designated Uber PUDO (pick-up/drop-off) lot. The Uber PUDO lot is the ONLY option for vehicles on the Uber network. Please note this is NOT a drop-off or pick-up location for taxis, limos or other ride-sharing companies. Complimentary shuttles will be provided at the Uber PUDO lot to transport attendees for a short transit (less than five minutes) to the Main Spectator Bus Terminal.
WALK OR BIKE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Be more environmentally friendly and walk or bike to the PGA Championship. Walk-in gates will be located near the Main Spectator Entrance. Spectators who wish to bike to the Championship will find bike racks outside the Main Spectator Entrance. Please note, the Championship is not liable for any stolen or damaged goods.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Designated accessible parking for those requiring lift-equipped transportation to the course will be provided. Please call The Convention Store at (877) 472-7275 for more information. The front rows of the general public parking lots will be reserved for spectators not requiring lift-equipped transportation but who have physically challenged hangtags for their vehicles. Wheelchairs will not be available for rent, but spectators may bring wheelchairs with them to the PGA Championship. Wheelchair accessible viewing areas will be located at the Short Game Practice Area to the left of the 9th Green, behind the 15th Green, and to the right of the 18th Green.
PGA, GCSAA MEMBERS AND MILITARY
PGA of America Members, Apprentices, PGA Golf Management University Students, and GCSAA gold card holders planning to attend the 99th PGA Championship can show their current member ID at the Bojangles Coliseum Parking lot (PGA General Public Lot EAST) to receive daily complimentary parking.
This opportunity also exists for Active Duty, Military Retirees, Active Reserve, and members of the National Guard. Military personnel must present a valid Military ID to gain entry into the lot.
PLEASE NOTE: Other PGA General Public Lots will not accept display of a member or military ID for entry into the lot.
