Samantha H. Morrell
Samantha Morrell is a dual PGA/LPGA member in her seventh year as a professional. A native of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Sam started taking golf lessons at age nine with her grandmother. With 24 years of golf experience under her belt, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to her instruction. Sam played college golf at Old Dominion University from 2009-2013 and graduated as the ODU Alumni Association's Female Athlete of the Year. Notably, she was also the university's first golfer to be named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Year in 2010. In September 2023, she achieved another milestone by becoming the first female golfer to be inducted into the Old Dominion Athletic Hall of Fame.
Sam has competed in several LPGA Tour majors including the 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024 KPMG Women's PGA Championships. Thanks to a victory at the 2023 Connecticut Women’s Open, Sam earned a sponsor’s exemption into the inaugural Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship on the LPGA Epson Tour. She not only participated in the event, but she also made the cut. Sam is excited to work with her students and share with them her passion and excitement for the game.
