Rich Williamson
Golf InstructorRich grew up surrounded by the game of golf and has been playing since a very young age. He became a Class A Professional after completing the PGM program and being elected into the PGA of America in 2019. He has been with Myakka Pines Golf Club since 2022.
Rich grew up in Dublin, Ohio and also lived in Colorado and New Jersey before heading south to Florida to pursue a career in the golf industry. He is passionate about serving others which has led him on two mission trips that have further inspired him both personally and professionally. He also developed a deeper desire to work with kids and became eager to return home with aspirations of developing a youth golf program.
When Rich isn’t golfing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, fishing, playing guitar, and going to the movies. He is also actively involved with a local junior golf program each summer, passing along his love of the game to youth in our community. In 2016 Rich was recognized as Assistant of the Year by the North Florida PGA Section Southwest Chapter. This award represents Rich’s high level of professionalism and dedication to the game he loves.
