As a passionate and dedicated golf coach, I’ve been fortunate to build a career centered around helping athletes grow both on and off the course. My journey in coaching began at Green River College, where I spent two seasons as an Assistant Coach focusing on swing mechanics and mental skills. During my time there, the team achieved a first-place finish in the NWAAC, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the athletes and coaching staff.
From there, I transitioned to Seattle Christian, where I proudly served as a Coach for 13 seasons. Those years were marked by incredible achievements, including an undefeated season, first-place finishes in the Nisqually League and Tri-Districts, and a second-place finish at the State Tournament. One of the highlights of my time at Seattle Christian was being honored as the 2016 Nisqually Coach of the Year.
In 2024, I took on a new challenge as Head Coach at Chief Sealth, and I’m thrilled with what we’ve accomplished in our first season. The team captured its first Metro title, making history for the school. Additionally, two of our players finished first and second in the Metro Tournament, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of our athletes.
My coaching philosophy centers on having fun while learning the fundamental principles of the game. I believe that fostering a positive and supportive environment is essential to helping players develop their skills and love for golf. My goal has always been to grow the game and show that success is achievable for players of all ages and abilities.
Through the years, I’ve been inspired by the resilience and passion of the athletes I’ve coached. Each season brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate the game we all love.
