Lisa A Johnson
Lisa Johnson grew up in Oak Harbor, Washington where she began playing golf at the age of 15. She was a multi-sport athlete, ultimately choosing to play Division I college golf at Gonzaga University. During her collegiate career, Lisa won three tournaments and was honored as the Bulldog Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Following graduation, Lisa attended the University of Idaho where she earned a master’s degree in recreation and began her collegiate coaching career. Lisa’s coaching career spanned 22 years, including working as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Boise State University, University of Idaho and University of Nebraska as well as Head Men’s Golf Coach at the University of Idaho. During this time, Lisa coached and mentored numerous highly ranked amateurs and professionals at golf’s premier championships, including the US Women’s Open, US Women’s Amateur, US Girls’ Junior, NCAA Regional and National Championships, Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the Arnold Palmer Cup, and Symetra Tour events. Lisa has had the honor of caddying in LPGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour events. In addition to coaching college and professional golfers, Lisa directed Nike junior golf camps in Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID. Lisa built a clientele of junior golfers in Moscow, ID, specializing in developing and preparing junior golfers for collegiate golf. She also created very popular parent/child clinics and assisted in coaching a PGA Junior League team. Lisa truly enjoys helping golfers reach their potential, from beginning golfers to professionals. Lisa is available by appointment for lessons and coaching on any aspect of the game, including swing instruction, short game instruction, on course instruction, practice planning, caddying and college preparation.
