Justin T. Thompson is an accomplished and detail-oriented Class ‘A’ PGA Member with 15 years of experience at some of the most exclusive private golf clubs in the country. As a dedicated leader in the golf industry, he has demonstrated a superior commitment to delivering an elite golf experience while ensuring the highest standards of personalized service, operational excellence, and financial success.

Currently serving as the General Manager & Director of Golf at Sandglass Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. Justin oversees all aspects establishing a new private club. Including the construction of the golf course and all future club facilities. Along with the start-up of club operations including golf shop management, staff development, and memberhip.

Before moving to Sandglass, Justin was the Head Golf Professional at Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach, Florida. For six years, Justin was responsible for all aspects of the golf operations, including golf shop management, staff development, and member engagement and coaching and organizing over $100,000 in golf lesson revenue. Under his leadership, the club has seen a 35% increase in rounds played and generates over $850,000 in annual golf shop sales. A proven mentor, he has guided multiple Assistant Golf Professionals to Head Golf Professional positions.

Prior to Pine Tree, Justin spent over a decade at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Florida, where he played a pivotal role in the club's transformation and growth. As General Manager & Director of Golf, he spearheaded a $2 million clubhouse renovation and a $500,000 bunker restoration without disrupting operations. His strategic vision resulted in an 82% revenue increase and an 80% boost in net profit, along with a membership satisfaction rate of 95%. His expertise in club management, member relations, and program development has left a lasting impact at every club he has served, including The John’s Island Club, Pine Valley Golf Club, and Wannamoisett Country Club.

Recognized for his leadership and dedication to professional development, Justin was honored with the South Florida Section PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award. He is also a Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), further demonstrating his commitment to excellence in club operations.

A former collegiate standout, Justin was the NCAA Division I District One Collegiate Player of the Year and holds multiple tournament victories, including the New England Division One Championship. His passion for golf extends beyond management, as he continues to provide expert instruction to players of all levels, including PGA Tour professionals and members of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
