My name is Josh Salisbury, and I am the Assistant Golf Professional at Stanley Golf Course. I was born, raised and currently live in Meriden CT with my wife Samantha and our two sons Cooper and Carson. Prior to becoming the Assistant Golf Professional at Stanley, I spent 10 years in Special Education at ACES Whitney Academy, 5 years mentoring and teaching golf at GRO-3 Golf Academy and have served in the United States Army Reserve since 2013.

The game of golf has always been a passion of mine from the first time I put my hands on a golf club. From that day forward, I knew I wanted to become a Golf Professional and help others enjoy the game as much as I do. I am truly excited to help grow the game of golf here at Stanley Golf Course. During a lesson, we will use to latest video analysis to break down the route faults of your swing. Once the faults are found, we will sue to best training aids and drills for your swing faults and practice these so these can be rehearsed at home and the range while you practice on your own. Please feel free to ask any questions you may want answered during a lesson as the only questions that cannot be answered is the one that is never asked.
