John has a rich and illustrious golf background both as a player and golf instructor.
A native of St. Louis, MO, John played collegiately at the University of Alabama where he played in 30 tournaments.
John started coaching in 2000 and has been the recipient of several prestigious industry awards including Golf Digest's "best in state" and Golf Tips Magazine "Top 25" instructors.
John has taught at some of the Country's finest facilities including TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Doral in Miami, TPC Scottsdale, JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort in Scottsdale AZ and now The Woodlands CC.
John has taught next to some of games best teachers including Hank Haney, Jim Flick and Rick Smith.
John has taught over 25,000 lessons over his career and has a proven track record of helping golfers of all ability level improve.
