I first realized my passion for golf instruction after taking lessons from Paul Girvan at The Kings Links Golf Center in Aberdeen, Scotland, before moving to the United States in my early twenties. As fate would have it, I changed directions and entered the hospitality industry, where I thrived and was awarded for my endeavors in the craft cocktail and alcohol sales space, earning accolades from my peers in both. However, a pandemic upended my career, and I had to rethink what came next. In a little over two years, I have gone from a part-time pro shop attendant to starting and expanding a fledgling instruction company to becoming a Center Manager with GOLFTEC. With close to 10,000 hours of instruction, I have been awarded a Coach of the Year award both nationally and locally. I love this industry and I get to truly say I do what I have wanted to do since I was nine years old when I got my first set of golf clubs. I work hard every day to not only improve my own game but also to learn as much as I can about teaching.
