George A. Blumberg, PGA
Teaching ProfessionalMy golf career began after retiring from the USAF in 1987. In my view, being a golf professional is not a job but a love and passion for the game. I became a golf instructor in 1998 since my spouses job had her moving around the country. My believe is that as a PGA member it is my duty to grown the game of golf. I must be able to create a desire from my students by making their learning experience as simple and concise as possible to keep their interest in the game. I am committed to teach the game with enthusiasm, excitement and sincerity.

Country Club of Mt Dora
Mount Dora FL
The Country Club of Mount Dora is located in the rolling hills of the Lake County golf community in Lake County, Florida, only 50 minutes northwest of downtown Orlando. Adding to the overall playing experience and beauty of this picturesque Lake County golf course, water was built into its design by the Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design team in 1991, and it comes into play on 16 holes. The raised greens are guarded by strategically placed sand traps and water, and offer a challenging target for both the accomplished player and the recreational golfer alike. The Country Club of Mount Dora is a Lloyd Clifton design golf course featuring well-manicured greens protected by bunkers and framed with magnificent oaks and pines. Each hole on this championship Par 72 18-hole golf course is unique. There’s a putting green and Aqua Range. Fourteen holes offer beautiful lake views for the Lake County golf enthusiast.
