Evan J. Lambert, PGA
Director of Instruction
Evan Lambert is the Director of Instruction at the EJL Golf Academy at Tumble Brook Country Club. A lifelong CT resident, Evan was recently recognized by Golf Digest as one of CT’s Best Teachers in the State for 2024 and a 2023 Operation 36 Top 50 Master Coach.
He was also recognized as the 2021 CT PGA Youth Player Development Award recipient, an Operation 36 Top 50 Coach for 2021 and 2022, and the 2018 CT PGA Assistant Professional of the Year.
He has a Bachelors of Science in Music Education from The Hartt School, and held a Connecticut State Education certification for grades Pre-K through 12. For five and a half years, Evan taught Pre-K through Grade 6 General Music and High School Choir, as well as coaching the Junior Varsity Soccer team and Golf Team for Ledyard High School.
Evan's true passion lies in junior player development and he is proud to be an Operation 36 Top 50 Master Coach and always aims to bring the highest quality instruction to players of all ages and skill levels!
