Director of Operation Tennessee PGA Section OfficeI graduated from the Mississippi State University’s PGM Program. I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration and Marketing as well as my PGA Class A Teaching certification. My first job was the Head Golf Professional at the VinnyLinks Golf Course in Nashville, working for the Tennessee Golf Foundation. I then moved on to become the Program Director for The First Tee in Central Mississippi where I developed and delivered programming to 5 First Tee program locations, including administering a PGA Junior League Program. In my most recent position I served as the Manager at the Pete Brown Golf Facility in Jackson, MS. At this position Carey I managed the entire 18 hole operation including overseeing the entire staff, budgeting, and administering the Jackson Public School System golf player development programming. I became certified PGA HOPE instructor, and personally went out and fundraised to start my own PGA HOPE program at the Pete Brown Golf Facility. I now currently serve at the Director of Operations for the Tennessee PGA Section Office.
