Barbara A. Blanchar, PGA
PGA Teaching ProfessionalBarbara Blanchar is the PGA Director of Instruction at WingHaven Country Club. She has been the Gateway PGA Female Player of the Year 19 years, the 2010 Gateway PGA Junior Golf Leader, the 2013 Gateway PGA Teacher of the Year, the 2015 Gateway PGA Horton Smith Award, and 2021 Gateway PGA Professional Development Award recipient. She was inducted into the 2007 Rock Bridge High School Sports Hall of Fame and the 2014 Columbia Golf Foundation Hall of Fame. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri. She played for the Mizzou Golf Team and was All Big Eight 3 times. She is a 5-time Missouri State Champion. She is the 1990 USGA Women’s Public Links Runner-Up. She became a PGA Member in 1995 while at Isleworth Country Club. She returned home to Columbia, MO to be the Head Golf Professional at Columbia Country Club. In 1999 she came to St. Louis to pursue her passion of helping others reach their golf goals. With her playing background, she can help you enjoy playing golf with your family, play competitive golf, or win championships.
