Austin has been working as a golf professional in the Kansas City area since summer 2012. Before turning professional, he had a stand out career at Lee’s Summit West High School that lead him to the University of Central Missouri. While there, he played on the golf team and studied in the Kinesiology department allowing him to understand more about the body and how it works. After graduating in 2013, Austin has continued to perfect his teaching methods by accruing a number of certifications listed below.

NSCA Certified Personal Trainer NASM Golf Fitness Specialist Titleist Performance Institute Golf Level 2 Fitness Level 2 Super Speed Golf Level 3 Science and Motion Silver Certified SNAG Golf certified NESTA Biomechanics Specialist KBS and True Temper shaft fitter. ​​ Austin was elected to PGA Membership in January of 2018.

Austin recently got engaged to his better half, Brooke. Together they have three dogs Ryder, Romeo and Cruz who all are completely spoiled. Outside of golf, Brooke and Austin enjoy relaxing evenings at home, trying new restaurants and breweries around town and streaming a new show or movie. We soon hope to start traveling again after the pandemic winds down.
