Yong Joo has over 30+ years of competitive golfing knowledge that he brings to his instruction. Yong grew up playing competitive golf his entire career from AJGA, high school, and NCAA Division 1 Golf at Liberty University and chased his dream on the mini tours for 11 years.

Yong has been a full-time instructor for over 10+ seasons, teaching over 8500 lessons and is a PGA member, being nominated for Teacher of the Year for the Middle Atlantic PGA Section in 2016.

Yong has won many events throughout his career from Junior events to college and mini tours, highlighted by winning the Big South Conference Individual title in 2000, Gateway, Hooters and other Mini tour events. He still stays competitive playing in many local, regional and national events run by the PGA of America and regarded by many as one of the better players in the region.
