My love for the game of golf began around the same time I started to walk. I grew up hitting golf balls into an empty field adjacent to my childhood home, and that hobby turned into an obsession. I’ve played golf at every different level, including high school, college and professional. I was fortunate enough to earn a scholarship to Michigan State University and was a starter for my 4 years there. I won twice as an individual in college and decided to compete at the professional level following graduation. I played full-time professionally for 5 years with status on The Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada). Most of my tournaments, however, were played between the Dakotas Tour and various state/city opens. I have three professional wins under my belt, and continue competing to this day. I decided to stop playing full-time as the travel and homesickness caught up with me. I love to compete now as much as I ever did, but living out of a suitcase and eating out of a paper bag began to wear on me. I have since began my career as a teaching professional at Links & Drinks Indoor Golf Bar in Oconomowoc, WI. I am currently progressing through the PGA’s Professional Golf Management Program and look forward to earning my PGA certification.
