Teaching Professional, Konnectgolf / Sleepy Hollow Country ClubRob Baynard is a PGA Professional specializing in short game, junior golf and data analysis. He joined Sleepy Hollow Country Club as the Director of Junior Golf by way of Westchester Country Club.
Coach Rob spends his winters teaching at Konnectgolf in mindtown Manhattan.
Originally from Florida, Rob had a club in his hand before he could walk. He learned the golf swing from Mike Adams and hall of fame instructor Bob Toski. He learned the mental game from Dr. Gio Valiante and Strokes Gained insights from Mark Broadie. Rob turned professional in 2004, playing on the Grey Goose Gateway Tour, and he continues to work on his game with his current coach Hal Sutton.
Rob is an accomplished competitor and was the only player to win twice on the Met PGA Assistants Tour in 2023. Rob currently sits on the Metropolitan PGA Assistants Board of Directors and was selected to join the Met PGA Assistants Ryder Cup Team and the Gene Borek Squire Cup Team, which pits the best Assistant Golf Professionals versus the best Head Golf Professionals in the section.
