Joey Gallup was born and raised in the Baltimore area where he was a multi-sport athlete at Archbishop Curley High School. Oddly enough, golf was not one of the sports. Joey fell in love with golf when he started working at the Fox Hollow Training Center in 2016 as a driving range attendant. Since then Joey has worked his way up the ranks at Fox Hollow. In 2021, Joey passed his PGA Playing Ability Test and became the PGA Apprentice at Fox Hollow. He is currently in the PGM program working towards his PGA membership. Since becoming the Apprentice Joey has given hundreds of individual lessons as well as instructed multiple group clinics. He teaches at many of the Baltimore County Junior Academy Summer Camps and he started new junior clinics at Fox Hollow. Joey was instrumental in developing implementing, and teaching the first ever Middle School Golf Clinics and league for Loyola Blakefield. Joey is passionate about the game of golf and wants to help others get the same enjoyment out of the game he does.
