Brandon began his career in the golf industry in 2005 on the outside services staff at Cumberland Country Club, a private club not far from his small western Maryland hometown of Mount Savage.

After becoming an Assistant Golf Professional in 2010, Brandon began to develop his passion for teaching. In 2014 he began working for Golf Made Simple Golf Schools where over the last 9 years he accumulated over 16,000 teaching hours(4500+ hours on-course instruction) helping golfers from over 35 countries. This experience has influenced him to personalize his teaching and communication for each golfer in both private & group instruction programs in his current role with the Rick Smith Golf Academy At Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.

After continuous hard work, Golf Digest chose to honor Brandon as one of the Best Young Teachers in America for 2023/2024 and again for 2025/2026. This prestigious honor was achieved through his commitment to his golfers and passion for mentoring fellow instructors.
