Lyle died on August 8 at only 36 years old after a long battle with cancer. Since then, players have helped honor Lyle. At the 2018 PGA Championship, players wore yellow ribbons. At the Wyndham Championship last week, players and caddies wore yellow hats. Titleist provided the hats for the Wyndham. Now they're making them available to purchase.
Also at the PGA Championship, Bryson DeChambeau sent his $25,000 from winning the Long Drive Compeition to Lyle's family. During the Championship, Rickie Fowler exchanged a blue shirt for a yellow one to honor Lyle.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Briony, and daughters Lusi, 6, and Jemma, 2.
"Lusi, Jemma and I are filled with grief and now must confront our lives without the greatest husband and father we could ever have wished for," Briony Lyle said.

"At the same time, we have been blessed and overwhelmed with the messages and actions of support from around the world and feel comforted that Jarrod was able to happily impact so many people throughout his life. Our humble thanks to you all."
