PGA Jr. League: North Palm Beach Country Club's Impressive Play Leads to Regional Qualifier

North Palm Beach Country Club celebrates their win the at PGA Jr. League South Florida Section Championship.
North Palm Beach Country Club advanced to the PGA Jr. League Regional Championship in September after claiming the 13-under division at the South Florida Section Championship at Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Florida.
North Palm Beach Country Club, coached by Zack Shriver, won the 9-hole scramble, stroke-play competition where each of the All-Star Teams were broken into four two-person teams.
North Palm Beach fired a team total of 86 (28-29-29) to advance. Rick Smith Golf Performance Center finished second in the event.
In the 17-Under division, Wellington National, coached by Sherri Pla, took home the victory in a weather-shortened competition.
North Palm Beach Country Club & Wellington National will compete at the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Regional Championship, September 9-11, at PGA Golf Club in Port Saint Lucie.
The South Florida PGA Section Qualifier served as the first of three phases en route to the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship which annually highlights the best PGA Jr. League teams across the country in Scottsdale, AZ.
