2024 PGA Professional Championship Tee Times and Featured Groups
Published on
Today, 312 PGA of America Golf Professionals will begin competing in the 2024 PGA Professional Championship at Fields Ranch in Frisco, Texas. Fighting for a share of a $715,000 purse, a spot in the PGA Championship next month at Valhalla Golf Club and the Walter Hagen Trophy, here are a couple of our most anticipated pairings!
Braden Shattuck, Michael Block, Rod Perry
Not one, not two, but three former champions paired together! Braden Shattuck is set to defend his title after becoming the 11th individual in the Championship’s history to win in his first appearance last year. Michael Block finished T-2 in the 2023 PGA Professional Championship en route to an appearance in the 2023 PGA Championship, where he memorably took Low Club Professional honors finishing T-15. Rod Perry won the 2013 PGA Professional Championship at Sunriver Resort in Oregon.
Alex Beach, Ben Kern, Kim Paez
Beach, the 2019 Champion at Belfair in South Carolina, and Kern have 14 total PGA Professional Championship starts between them. Kern was Low Club Professional at the 2018 PGA Championship, while Beach won the 2019 Assistant PGA Professional Championship becoming the first member to win both the Assistant PPC and PPC in the same year. Paez, the first woman to win the 2023 Southwest PGA Section Championship, is making her debut. She recently played in the LPGA's Ford Championship.
Stephanie Connelly-Eiswerth, Bob Sowards, Kyle Ramey
Stephanie Connelly-Eiswerth, the 2023 Rolex Women’s PGA Professional Player of the Year representing the North Florida PGA Section, is making her third consecutive appearance. 2004 PGA Professional Champion Bob Sowards, the 2023 Rolex Senior PGA Professional Player of the Year, returns to PGA Frisco after making the cut at the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, contested at Fields Ranch East. Ramey is making his fifth consecutive start in the PGA Professional Championship.
