Courses: Sea Island Resort, Seaside Course (7,005 yards, par 70), Plantation Course (7,058, par 72).
Purse: $5.7 million. Winner's share: $1,026,000.
Last year: Robert Streb won his first PGA Tour title, beating Brendon de Jonge with a birdie on the second hole of a playoff. Will MacKenzie was eliminated on the first extra hole.
Last week: Graeme McDowell won the rain-delayed OHL Classic in Mexico in a Monday finish. He beat Russell Knox and Jason Bohn with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff.
Notes: The tournament is the last official event of the year. The season will resume Jan. 7-10 with the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii. ... Zach Johnson is the highest-ranked player in the field at No. 10. ... Tournament host Davis Love III and son Dru, a junior at the University of Alabama, also are playing. Davis Love III won the Wyndham Championship in August at 51 years, 4 months, 10 days to become the third-oldest champion in tour history. ... The final round will be played on the Seaside Course.

Course: Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course (7,675 yards, par 72).
Purse: $8 million. Winner's share: $1,333,300.
Last year: Henrik Stenson successfully defended his title in the season-ending event, beating Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Victor Dubuisson by two strokes. McIlroy won the Race to Dubai competition the previous week in Turkey.
Last week: Kristoffer Broberg won the BMW Masters in China for his first European Tour title, beating Patrick Reed with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff.
Notes: McIlroy leads the Race to Dubai standings with 3,393,923 points, followed by Danny Willett with 3,392,310. Rose (2,742,924), Shane Lowry (2,691,444), Louis Oosthuizen (2,655,907), Branden Grace (2,556,148) and Byeong-hun An (2,139,356) also have a chance to win. Players will receive a point for each dollar earned in the event. The points winner will receive $1.25 million and an additional $625,000 for playing three of the four Finals Series events. ... The 2015-16 season will begin next week with the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa.

CME GROUP TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

Course: Tiburon Golf Club (6,540 yards, par 72).
Purse: $2 million. Winner's share: $500,000.
Last year: Lydia Ko won the season-ending tournament, beating Carlota Ciganda with a par on the fourth hole of a playoff. Julieta Granada was eliminated on the second extra hole. Ko earned $1.5 million — $1 million in the Race to the CME Globe and $500,000 for the tournament victory.
Last week: Inbee Park won the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico, closing with an 8-under 64 for a three-stroke victory.
Notes: Ko and Park are tied for the tour victory lead with five. They are 1-2 in five major competitions. Ko tops the world ranking (12.40 average points to 12.31), player of the year standings (276 points to 273), Race to the CME Globe (5,000 reset points to 4,500) and the money list ($2,758,417 to $2,570,096). Park leads the Vare Trophy for scoring average (69.433 to 69.449). ... Ko, Park and No. 3 Stacy Lewis (4,000 points) would take the $1 million Race to the CME Globe bonus with a victory. Sei Young Kim (3,600), Lexi Thompson (3,200), So Yeon Ryu (2,800), Amy Yang (2,400), Anna Nordqvist (2,000) and Shanshan Feng (1,600) also have a chance to win. The tournament champion will receive 3,500 points, second place 2,400, third 2,200, down to 250 for 36th.

Last week: Australian amateur Ben Eccles won the NSW Open Championship, finishing with an even-par 72 for a three-stroke victory.
Notes: Scott tops the field. He won in 2012 at Kingston Heath and 2013 at Royal Melbourne. ... The Australian Open is next week at The Australian in Sydney, followed by the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Pines in Gold Coast.
