15-year-old grandson of Jack Nicklaus makes ace in Masters Par 3 Contest

One of the great traditions in the Masters Par 3 Contest is players letting loved ones play a shot in front of the massive galleries.

Imagine the pressure the loved one must feel.

Now, imagine those crowds and that pressure AND hitting the ball in front of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson.

That's what happened for G.T. Nicklaus on Wednesday, the 15-year-old grandson of six-time Masters champ Jack.

But, pressure, as we've seen over the years, isn't a big deal for those with the last name "Nicklaus" at Augusta National.

G.T. went and aced the ninth hole on the par-3 course, reducing his granddad to tears. It was something Jack predicted three days ago when G.T. accepted the invitation to hit the tee shot on nine after caddying in the par 3 for grandpa.
