My name is Robert “RT” Todd , most call me RT. I use an individualized approach to teaching my guests how to improve their golf skills. I joined the PGA in 1988 and have been involved with recognized golf academies throughout the country. 2006 to 2023 I was the Director of Golf Development at a facility that hosted a PGA Tour event and from 2006 to 2011 I was the PGA Tour Ambassador for that facility . I attended many PGA Tour events and built relationships with the PGA Tour players. The benefits I enjoyed the most at the tour events were the opportunity to watch the players swings and talk to their coaches on the driving range on the days leading up to the tournament. Boy are those guys good, especially their short game!

I love to be outdoors and be around people that want to play and improve their golf game. My ability to make the game of golf fun for all is rewarding. I normally start by getting to know the player and learning more about their past history and find if they have any similarities or other skills that possibly could help us to communicate and make it easier to understand each other. Then we will head to the range and loosen up by hitting a few balls. If the student is a first timer my goal will be to make them feel comfortable and get them hitting the ball and have some fun! If you are comfortable I can take you onto the course for a hole or two to give you the opportunity to ask questions and I can help develop your swing thoughts and manage your way around the course. Before you leave I will recommend some drills and give homework to help improve your swing. We can create goals to work on to get prepared for our next visit.

I do have motion detection devices, camera, video technology to help see your results if you desire.
