M. Scott Adams, PGA
PGA CoachScott has been lucky to enough to be around the game of golf his entire life. As the son of a Golf Professional / Superintendent, he had a golf club in his hand before he could walk. Scott grew up playing golf at Webb Hill Country Club in Greenville, Texas and played golf, soccer and football until High School where he began focusing exclusively on golf. He attended McKinney High School and lettered on the golf team all four years serving as team captain his senior year. After high school, Scott decided to make Golf his career and began working to attain his Class "A" PGA Professional certification, which he achieved in 2005.
As a PGA Professional, Scott is committed to help grow the game he loves by helping his students play their best. He has had the opportunity to work with several top instructors during his career which helped him develop his own philosophy for helping players have fun and get the most out of their game. After assisting in his first junior clinic as a teenager, Scott found he had a passion for coaching and has since worked with players of all ages, genders and skill levels from beginners to touring professionals.
Scott has organized countless tournaments, events, and clinics throughout his career but by far, the relationships he has formed through golf, are what he cherishes the most.
Scott, his wife Angie, and two daughters, Dillon (16) and Austin (11) moved to Benton in 2021. Angie is a Health and Life Insurance Broker, Dillon is a Junior at BHS and Austin is in 6th grade at BMS. Both girls began playing golf at an early age and competed in PGA Jr. League. Dillon is currently on the Benton High School Varsity team and Austin is an accomplished soccer player but still loves to tee it up from time to time.
