Mike started his career at Glen Erin Golf Club in Janesville, WI where he was the Head Golf Professional managing the day-to-day operation and all player development programs. Mike’s true passion in the golf industry is for player development, helping golfers shoot lower scores and have more fun playing the great game of golf. Mike pursued his goal to become a full-time instructor and fitter by joining the Beloit Club in 2016. Mike managed the Ironworks Golf Lab in Beloit, WI while teaching and fitting. With the tremendous growth of instruction and club fitting business, Mike reached his goal and became a full-time teacher and fitter and formed the Ironworks Golf Academy with Travis Becker! Now with over 10 years of experience offering his expertise in coaching, Mike has returned to Glen Erin as the Director of Instruction to grow the game of golf in Janesville!

Mike has experience giving professional instruction to all skill levels and ages, using state-of-art technology including V1 Video, Trackman, K-VEST 3D, and Boditrak Pressure Mat. Mike’s expertise is in the biomechanics of the golf swing. This is aimed to make a golfer’s swing as efficient and powerful as possible. This can be achieved by improving or working around any physical limitations the golfer may have. Mike has taught numerous state-qualifying juniors, WPGA and IJGA Junior Champions, and City Tournament Winners!
