Lisa Rogers
Head Golf & Head Teaching ProfessionalLisa Rogers has had a love for the game of golf since she first picked up a golf club at the age of 2. Inspired by her father, her passion for the game of golf has taken her on an amazing journey. She began her competitive golf journey by playing on the boys golf team at her high school, which was then followed by fulfilling her dream of playing college golf at a Division I University. After college, she decided to pursue her dream and turned professional in 1995.
Her passion for teaching began early in her golf career when, although she was just a junior herself, she was asked to help teach the summer golf camp at her country club. It was there that the spark to help others love and enjoy the game of golf began. Since then it has been her goal to create a culture that nurtures and develops athletes to help them find their best golf games and their best selves.
Lisa has been teaching since she turned professional in 1995. For the last 5 years she has dedicated 100% of her time to teaching and helping her students get better. Lisa is a firm believer that you can never know it all, so she is constantly reading and studying new material to help further her own education in order to better help her students.
By taking a holistic approach to golf, Lisa is dedicated to helping each individual find the swing that will work best for them. She focuses primarily on swing fundamentals which will give her students a strong foundation from which to build their game, using technology to entertain and to enhance the learning environment when necessary. During each lesson she provides her students with a superior experience while delivering results that will help them enjoy the game more. This is accomplished by providing all students with a SAFE and FUN learning environment. For her youngest students she creates a playful environment by taking a games based approach to learning.
Lisa is a Class A Member of the PGA of America, is working towards membership in the LPGA and is a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor. Lisa enjoys working with all levels of golfers, with a special focus on beginners, juniors and women.
