Katie Sharp

Katie Sharp grew up near Fort Wayne, IN and started playing golf when she was 6 years old. Her parents taught her the game, along with her younger brother. Sharp competed at a high level during her junior golf career and was ranked #1 in the state of Indiana for a majority of that time.
A 2018 graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Media and Information, Sharp was a member of the Spartan women’s golf team, earning four varsity letters and being named an Academic All-American four straight years. As a Spartan, Sharp won an individual title at the 2016 Clemson Invitational with a score of -8 (68-70-70) and helped her team win three Big Ten Championships (2014, 2017, 2018). She also competed in the 2014 USGA Women's Amateur Public Links.
Sharp started her role as Assistant Golf Professional at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame in the summer of 2022. She loves teaching and introducing new players to the game of golf.

Home to the Notre Dame Varsity Men's and Women's Golf Teams, Warren Golf Course is a top-tier course in the state of Indiana right off of Notre Dame campus. This links style course was host of the 2019 US Senior Open Championship and will host the 2023 Indiana Open. Warren boasts an 18-hole championship course, friendly staff, and excellent practice facilities.
