Kandi Comer, PGA
Director of GolfKandi Comer has been mentoring players of all skill levels for more than 25 years by providing them with a firm knowledge of the game’s basic fundamentals. Kandi is recognized as a top instructor by Golf Digest and is a US Kids Top 50 Master Junior Instructor. She is ranked by Golf Digest as a Top 100 National Clubfitter and has been recognized four straight years as a National Top 50 Teaching Professional by Golf For Women. In 2020, she was inducted into the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame for her playing and teaching excellence.
Kandi was the instructor of LPGA Tour star Dottie Pepper—winner of 17 tour events including two majors—and coached several other professional golfers as they successfully earned their tour credentials.
Kandi has sent 60+ juniors on to play college golf, and has trained players to compete in US Junior, US Amateur, and US Open championships. In 2005, she was selected as the PGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year and asked to serve on the PGA President’s council on growing the game. Kandi received the 2019 VSGA Grow the Game Award. Thanks to her outstanding record of success, she is now known as one of the finest teachers in the game.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kandi Kessler-Comer was a fine player herself. She represented the United States in the 1986 Curtis Cup Matches, competed in five U.S. Women’s Open Championships—finishing 14th in 1987, won five Virginia State championships (the first to hold the Junior title, Match Play title, and Stroke Play title at the same time), made it to the quarter finals of the 1985 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, claimed several collegiate trophies, and won two professional tournaments. In 1985, Kandi was recognized as one of the top 10 amateur women golfers in United States by Golf Digest. In 2002, she was named one of the Top 50 female golfers in ACC history.

A beautiful 18 hole golf course with nice practice facilities. Family friendly club with a lot of junior golf opportunities. The facility has a driving range, putting green and a very nice short game practice area with a bunker. Indoor teaching area for teaching during the cold weather. The club has a full service restaurant and a nice swimming pool.

Junior Clinics and Camps
We offer an extensive junior program from spring season through the fall. We offer programs from ages 3 - 17 for all levels of golfers. We offer OP36 programs that are very popular.
