Jeffrey L Templeton MBA, PGA
I am currently the Director of Golf at Glendora Country Club located in Southern California. I have worked in all aspects related to golf from driving ranges, public facilities and private country clubs. I have been teaching/coaching for over 20 years with roughly 8,000 hours of teaching experience. I am passionate about seeing my students grasp new concepts and assisting them in accomplishing their goals for the game of golf. I am a firm believer that practice is a must when it comes to taking lessons. In order for a student to be successful they have to do their part as well. I can only show them the door while they have to walk through it. There is no easy fix to a golf swing and students need to set realistic goals to achieve success. Going from a 20 handicap to a 2 in a range of 6 months is not a good goal to have. Rather I like to see students focus on the foundations of the golf swing. For example, improving their grip over a two to three month period, a much more attainable goal. Golf is a life long sport where even a beginner and veteran can learn something new that will improve their game and enjoyment of golf.

Glendora Country Club
Glendora CA
Glendora Country Club is the result of OVER 60 years of dreams and hard work. It was begun in 1954 when several local businessmen were convinced that a golf course would be a good venture. The Club is located on a portion of the Warren Estate at the east end of Glendora and easily accessible to those in and around the San Gabriel and Inland Valleys. Today, The Club offers a variety of golf, aquatic and social events for its’ members and guests. Our Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course is enjoyable and challenging for all levels of play, offering a variety of tees to accommodate everyone from beginners, juniors, and seniors to casual enthusiasts, low handicappers and golf professionals. The course plays host to the local "Genesis Open" qualifier, U.S. Amateur (both men and women) Qualifiers, S.C.G.A Tournaments and counts amongst our members the former U.S. Women's Mid Amateur Champion. The club consistently ranks as one of the best country clubs in the Los Angeles area.
