Jason M Cooper, PGA
Head Golf ProfessionalWith over 18 years in golf instruction and coaching, I bring a unique perspective to the coaching/learning environment.
For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students. From beginners taking their first swing to seasoned players honing their skills, my teaching approach is rooted in understanding each student as an individual.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all methodologies. We're all unique, and our golf swings should reflect that. My philosophy centers around the notion that effective coaching is about tailoring the learning experience to suit the individual. It's not about fitting the student into a specific method; it's about finding what works best for them.
The foundation of effective golf lies in mastering the fundamentals. As a coach, my philosophy is grounded in a deep understanding of key elements such as grip, stance, and alignment. These fundamentals are the building blocks upon which a golfer's technique is constructed.
Over the years, I've witnessed the transformation of countless golfers who have embraced a personalized approach to their game. Whether it's refining fundamentals, enhancing specific skills, or overcoming challenges, the emphasis on individualized and group coaching has consistently yielded positive results.
Just as I encourage continuous improvement on the course, I'm dedicated to staying abreast of the latest developments in golf instruction. Ongoing education allows me to bring fresh insights and innovative approaches to my teaching, ensuring you receive the best guidance possible.

Woods Fort Golf Course
Troy MO
Woods Fort was built on rolling hills so you can expect some uneven lies. The fairways are relatively wide and generous, and the greens are average to large, most with undulations. Water hazards come into play on four holes. The signature hole is number 17, a 298-yard par 4. You can choose to drive the green, carry of some 270 yards and over a lake with stacked boulders on the front side of the green. Or you can lay up in the generous fairway and then maneuver the water and boulders.
