James T. Rolls, a Class A PGA Member and seasoned golf professional with over 2 decades of expertise, brings a wealth of experience to his role as the GM/Director of Golf. He honed his skills at a prestigious multi-course facility boasting 72 championship holes designed by golf legends Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jack Nicklaus. During his tenure at the Club at Indian Creek, he was instrumental in securing the Pinnacle Bank Championship, a Korn Ferry Tour event. In addition, He and his team were recognized as Merchandiser of the Year three times for the Nebraska Section of the PGA in the Public facilities category. Starting his career as a professional golfer, James transitioned into a role as Assistant Golf Professional at Horseshoe Bay Resort in early 1997, swiftly climbing the ranks to Head Professional at the resort's Slick Rock facility by the end of 1998. His talents continued to be recognized as he assumed leadership at Cap Rock, a renowned multi-course facility housing award-winning courses Ram Rock and Apple Rock, by the summer of 2000. Originally from upstate New York, James relocated to Texas in 1982, where he attended Round Rock High School before competing at the Jr. College level in Temple, Texas. His stellar performance secured him a full scholarship to Southwest Texas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration while playing NCAA Division I college golf. Actively involved in the golf community, James serves on the Board of Girls Golf of Omaha Association. In addition to his professional accomplishments, James had been a respected member of the Dallas Morning News voting panel responsible for annual golf course rankings in Texas. Currently residing in Omaha with his wife Liza and their beloved dog "Spur," James invites visitors to stop by and say hello, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests!
