Like many golf professionals, I once made my living only playing golf. Although I believe I could still be playing at the highest levels of the game, I much prefer to be close to home to watch my girls grow up. I really enjoy teaching the game and seeing others get the fun out of the game I love. I still get a chance to be competitive in our North Texas Section of the PGA and you will see me working on my game before major tournaments that I play in annually. Most of my teaching is with junior golfers and I like the repetitiveness of working with the same kids for years but I really love teaching adults who just want to get some knowledge so they can improve. I do not try to teach you one type of swing. What I will do is explain why your ball is doing what it is doing and explain in simple terms how you can make slight adjustments (that make sense) to help you improve. Recently named in December 2023 a top 50 teaching professional in Texas by Golf Digest. I use Onform app as well as multiple launch monitors to provide each student with take home feedback from each lesson.
