Chad Williams, PGA Head Golf Professional at Tierra Verde Golf Club since 2012. As a member of the PGA of America since 2001, I have served in the capacity of Head Golf Professional for over twenty-three years. On the course accomplishments include Champion of the 2007 Northern Texas PGA Professional Championship & NTPGA Assistant’s Match Play, Team member of (4) NTPGA Joe Black Cups and participant in (13) Texas State Opens. I enjoy helping my students reach their goals, by providing sound fundamentals of the golf swing as a basis to build the individuals confidence in their game. It is important the instructor and student have a mutual understanding of how to improve and recognize the time it takes for change to occur. Repetition of drills is necessary for consistency to take form. Everyone should have the knowledge to own their swing when it really counts, and I enjoy assisting in that effort.

It's hard to find a more beautiful course than the award-winning Tierra Verde Golf Club. Tierra Verde is the first golf course in Texas and the first municipal course in the world to be certified as an Audubon Signature Sanctuary. Opened in 1998, and carved from 250 acres of secluded terrain, the course's unsurpassed layout encompasses a variety of natural settings and offers an outstanding playing experience on every hole. Each hole has five sets of tees, sculpted fairways, strategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards - all accented by stately trees and beautiful native grasses. But there's even more to enjoy. The facility features a state-of-the-art golf learning center, a lighted driving range, 3-hole mastery course and a large chipping / putting green complex. Ventana Grille offers an outdoor pavilion and full-service restaurant that complements every event from small corporate outings to large fundraising tournaments.
