Meghan Musk
Assistant Golf ProfessionalMy name is Meghan Musk and I became a PGA Member in October of 2019. I grew up in San Antonio, TX playing every junior tournament around the city. I played all four years on my High School team where I was a three-time District Champion and a four-time Regional 5A qualifier. I accepted an offer to play golf in the Fall of 2009 at Sam Houston State where I played all four years on the traveling team, qualifying for every tournament. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Health with a minor in Biology in May of 2013. Not ready to give up the sport I loved, I decided to try to qualify for the LPGA Tour. I attended LPGA Qualifying School from 2014-2017 earning Symetra Tour status with each try. I also competed on the England’s Best National Woman’s Golf Association tour in Orlando, Florida from 2015-2017. I turned professional in the beginning of 2017 to complete on the Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour for six weeks. Deciding to step away from the competitive side of the game at the end of 2017, I decided to enter the business and become a PGA Associate in 2018 beginning my career as a Golf Professional at TPC San Antonio. Working for the PGA TOUR was pivotal in completing my PGA Professional Golf Management program since it gave me access to all facets of the golf industry and also what goes into running a TOUR event as the course is the host for the Valero Texas Open. I was able to hone my skills as a Golf Professional but also as an instructor through the Director of Instruction at TPC San Antonio by giving multiple lessons and clinics to not only Members but also JW Marriott Resort Guests. At the end of 2019 I took my skills to Shadow Hawk Golf Club in Richmond, TX to continue my career as a Golf Professional and learn the business from the perspective of a private golf club. I look forward to continuing to grow as a person and as a Golf Professional at Shadow Hawk and to provide my Members and Guests an exceptional level of service that they can’t get anywhere else in the city of Houston.
