WATCH: Matt Kuchar chips in on 10th hole at US Open
Matt Kuchar isn't atop the leaderboard this weekend at the U.S. Open. He isn't one of the five players scoring better than 10-under.
That hasn't stopped him from going out with a bang.

Kuchar came into the day 1-under, in 35th place. A clean final round through 12 holes with three birdies helped Kuchar jump 14 spots into a tie for 21st place. He started the back nine of the right way.
He drove his first shot 275 yards on the 492 par 4. He got his second shot to land right off the green with 30 feet standing in his way of his second birdie of the day.

Kuchar bogeyed the par 3 on 13, but answered right back with a birdie on 14. Though he won't make up the eight strokes he needs to win the U.S. Open, he certainly ended his time in Erin Hills on the upswing.
