After exiting day one atop the leaderboard at the Houston Shell Open, he paid a visit to the Astros spring training exhibition where he threw out the first pitch.

Fowler told MLB.com after the first pitch that it was a "little embarrassing" that the pitch was up, but there is nothing to be embarrassed about hitting 70 miles per hour on the radar gun. Of course, earlier this summer, Fowler had some additional work at the St. Louis Cardinals spring training facilities.

While there is no reason to expect the talented Fowler to quit his day job and take up baseball, it certainly speaks volumes to his athleticism. That being said, with his competitive drive, expect him to get another chance to throw that perfect first pitch at a ballpark somewhere soon.
