Players, caddies to wear yellow hats in honor of Jarrod Lyle at the Wyndham Championship

The PGA family continues to come together in support of the late Australian golfer Jarrod Lyle. Players and caddies will wear yellow hats, sent by Titleist, this weekend at the Wyndham Championship in honor of Lyle. 

Lyle, known for wearing a yellow bucket hat, lost his battle to cancer last Wednesday before the PGA Championship teed off. Players rallied in several different ways to support and honor the 36-year-old Australian golfer. Players hats were donned with yellow ribbons at the PGA Championship, while Bryson DeChambeau sent his $25,000 winnings from the Long Drive Competition to Lyle's wife Bri and their two daughters, Lusi and Jemma. Rickie Fowler traded his blue shirt in for a yellow one in the first round of the PGA Championship and reeled off a weekend-best 65.

It also appears there are yellow Titleist ballcaps heading to Sedgefield Country Club, host of this weekend's championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. Both hats are inscribed with a JL in memory of Jarrod Lyle.
