WATCH: Justin Thomas makes roller coaster birdie putt at US Open
Justin Thomas has flown under the radar some during the first two rounds of the US Open.
But when you sport super bright pink pants like he is today, it's hard not to be noticed.

Also, the spotlight turned to Thomas when he made an incredible birdie putt on the par-4 5th hole while aiming away from the hole and not actually putting on the surface of the green.
Take a look at this roller-coaster ride of a putt below.
UPDATE:
That sideways putt was just the beginning.
Thomas is now deep in the midst of an outstanding round -- on the first nine holes, he shot a 31, tying him atop the leaderboard with the likes of today's incoming leaders.
