The bogey-free round was Daly's best in ten years on the European Tour. His previous best was when he shot a 62 in the final round of the2009 UBS Hong Kong Open. The day, as it often is with Daly, was filled with great shots and fun pants.

We'll see if Daly can keep it up and become a weekend threat. But for today, he is tied atop the leaderboard and caught the attention of plenty a fan and fellow competitor.
Hats off to @PGA_JohnDaly, joint 1st after day 1 at the #CzechMasters
