5 things that caught our eye on Day 2 of the PGA Merchandise Show
ORLANDO, Florida -- On Thursday's Day 2 of the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show, we weaved through the aisles and up and down the show floor to find some favorite items that truly stuck out.
Here's a closer look at five of them.
5. Seamus Golf
One of the great success stories in the last several years belongs to Seamus Golf, based in Beaverton, Oregon. The company established a name for itself in the golf business by manufacturing high-end, tartan headcovers.
Over the past few years, however, the company has expanded tremendously. Hand-forged ball markers, divot tools, bottle openers, bag tags, flasks and more have all been added to the line-up, as well as the use of leathers for headcovers.
The tartan is still a big-time performer for Seamus. Everything is handmade back in Oregon.
If you want to give a nod to the game's history, Seamus Golf's headcovers would be a great addition to your bag.
4. Swannies
A golf lifestyle brand that was born from three friends who attended the University of Minnesota together, Swannies shoots to inject some youth -- and fun -- into the game.
The company launched through a Kickstarter campaign in 2015. Its first offering was a soft-spike, golf sandal. Since then, the company has expanded into t-shirts, polos, windbreakers, 1/4-zip pullovers, rain jackets, hats and more.
In 250 golf shops across the U.S., Swannies also has an event schedule -- at 16 different locations -- lined up for 2018. The event will feature eightsomes instead of the traditional foursomes, with drinking games and cornhole games in between.
Swannies is merging the fun, social life into what's always been a conservative game... and their making a lot of fans along the way.
3. Chef's Cut Real Jerky
Looking for a great snack on or off the course? One that's high in protein with the highest quality ingredients? Chef's Cut Real Jerky would be worth your while.
And the story behind the company is one we love.
Buddies Blair Swiler and Dennis Riedel were caddies at prestigious Bayonne in New Jersey. Swiler had been a chef and needed a break. As a snack, he'd bring along his homemade jerky. Riedel loved it.
With a little reluctance at first, Swiler finally shared the recipe with Riedel and the next thing you know, the two partnered up to create Chef's Cut Real Jerky, sold all over the U.S. today.
2. ECCO Biom Hybrid 3
ECCO's Biom Hybrid 3 features a groundbreaking new Tri-Fi-Grip outsole.
The new outsole design provides multi-purpose zonal performance through three segments; one for stability, another for durability and a third for rotational support.
As with most ECCO offerings, the shoes are perfect for use both on and off the golf course.
The ECCO Biom Hybrid 3 comes with either the traditional laces for $199, or -- for a $20 up charge -- you can get them with the BOA closure system.
1. Vessel
Vessel has been in business for five years now, but this week marks the company's first appearance at the PGA Merchandise Show.
Founder Ronnie Shaw prides Vessel on its ability to provide customers with the ultimate in customization on golf bags -- stand and staff -- as well as with lifestyle accessories from purses to totes to garment bags to duffel bags to back packs to shoe bags to toiletry bags and more.

One of the coolest features on the Vessel website, is a customers ability to utilize the virtual customization tools to add color, logos and more to make their bag truly one of a kind.
