Tiger Woods finishes tied for sixth at British Open, sends Twitter into another world
This is not a drill. Tiger Woods briefly climbed atop the leaderboard on Sunday at The Open Championship at Carnoustie before finishing tied for sixth at 5-under, three strokes behind winner Francesco Molinari.
Tiger's second shot on the par-4 10th hole sent Twitter into another world as he used a wedge – with a full recoil! – to get out of a fairway bunker and onto the green within 20 feet of the hole from roughly 150 yards out.

I can't stop rubbing my eyes, pinching myself, running to the nearest sink to slap water on my face . . . I really am awake. Tiger vs. Spieth, McIlroy & other young guys Sunday in a major. Manna.

I don’t watch golf and I’m watching golf.
Tiger bouncing bad shots off spectators and getting better lies out of it - he’s getting Dad Luck, this is unbelievable.

I also would let Tiger hit me with a golf ball right now if it gave him a better chance to save par.

That’s it for Tiger. Molinari throws one in closer than Tiger. Game over.

Fantastic week. Ups and downs, sure, but so much fun to watch.
And yes, he will win again.
