Media Day for the 2009 PGA Professional National Championship
The PGA of America, led by President Brian Whitcomb, expressed its enthusiasm about returning to New Mexico for the 2009 PGA Professional National Championship. The even will be held from June 28 to July 1, 2009 at Twin Warriors Golf Club and nearby Santa Ana Golf Club.
Titleist to exhibit at 2009 PGA Merchandise Show
Fairhaven, MA (October 8, 2008) - Titleist announces its plans to exhibit at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show to be held in Orlando, Florida, from January 29-31. Titleist also will participate in the Outdoor Demo Day at the Orange County National Golf Center on January 28.
The PGA of America announces its 2008 Award Winners
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Jim Antkiewicz, the PGA director of golf at The Club at Nevillewood in Presto, Pa., whose efforts in growing the game in the greater Pittsburgh area have inspired both youth and aspiring PGA Professionals, has been named the 55th recipient of the PGA Golf Professional of the Year Award, the highest annual honor bestowed by The PGA of America on a PGA Golf Professional.
PGA Past President Clarke, who served in 1973-74, dies at 85
William Clarke, the 18th President of The PGA of America, died Sept. 22 in Parkville, Md. Clarke, considered one of the foremost authorities on the Rules of Golf, served as PGA President in 1973 and 1974.
U.S. Ryder Cup Team contributes to Folds of Honor Foundation
The victorious United States Ryder Cup Team and Captain Paul Azinger combined for a donation of $130,000 to Patriot Golf Day, the primary fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships for dependents and spouses of service members who have either perished or returned wounded while serving their country.

Junior PGA Championship moves to TPC River's Bend
The 33rd Junior PGA Championship will be conducted on Aug. 13-16 at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, OH.
