With a second chance at a Championship, Krando Nishiba made an adjustment and hit an incredible 35-foot birdie putt on the playoff hole that was true from the start. The celebration on the 9th green that followed was a memory for a lifetime.
 
For the fifth consecutive year, teams that have qualified from the states of California and Georgia will compete for the PGA Junior League Golf Championship title, at Disney's Palm Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Team California is off to a strong start as the only undefeated 2-0 team after the first day of competition. Team Georgia and Team New Jersey, who each played one match, both started with a victory.

The organizers of the PGA Junior League National Championships like to characterize their event as the Little League World Series of golf. And like their brethren in youth baseball, San Diego kids already are making their presence felt in the tournament.
 
Eight all-star teams of junior golfers have advanced to the 2015 PGA Junior League Golf Championship, to be held Nov. 5-8 at Disney's Palm Course at Walt Disney Resort. Approximately 30,000 boys and girls participated on 2,500 teams this year, a nearly 100 percent increase from 2014. 
 
Coming off a victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Rickie Fowler has been named an Ambassador for PGA Junior League Golf, which introduces boys and girls ages 13 and under to the game in a recreational team setting. Fowler, who has five professional victories, including three this year, joins Rory McIlroy and Michelle Wie as PGA Junior League Golf Ambassadors.
 
The 2015 PGA Junior League Golf Championship will be hosted Nov. 5-8, at Disney's Palm Course, located within the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Eight PGA Junior League Golf Teams that advance out of the Regional Championships in September and October will contend for the title.
 
Eight Regional Championships will be hosted across the continental United States. The participating Sections and locations of each Regional were determined based on the total number of teams participating in PGA Junior League Golf, such that each Regional Championship was representative of an equal number of total participating teams in 2015.
 
Michelle Wie has been named an ambassador for PGA Junior League Golf, which introduces kids ages 13 and under to the game in a fun, social and inclusive team-based environment. Wie, the 2014 U.S. Women's Open Champion, joins 2014 PGA Champion Rory McIlroy as an ambassador.
 
The golf industry has been trying to launch ways to grow the future of the game, and the PGA of America looks to have come up with a 300-yard drive down the middle of the fairway. And the idea is quickly catching on in New Mexico.
