Event Information:
Who
Boys and girls, under 19 years old and who have not yet begun college, may attempt to qualify through their local PGA Section. One of golf's major championships for juniors, the Junior PGA Championship is where the best in the world get their start. The Championship celebrates its 33rd anniversary in 2008. Begun in 1976 at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., the Championship has been a popular stop on the national junior circuit for many of today's PGA and LPGA touring professionals.

What
72-hole stroke-play Championship, 18 holes daily. Cut after 54 holes to the low 30 boys and low 30 girls plus ties. In the event of a tie after 72 holes, there will be a sudden-death playoff.
